Privacy Policy
Jev Hub (jev-ai.live) is an independent information site. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. Short version: we collect as little as possible, and your API key never leaves your browser unless you run a request.
What we collect
1. Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic: page views, rough geography, referrers. This data is anonymized/aggregated by Google and does not include names or email addresses. You can block it with any ad blocker or by disabling cookies.
2. Playground local storage
The Playground stores your settings — your API key (if you enter one), the current state text, and the selected model — in your browser's localStorage. This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us. When you click Run with your own key, the request goes directly to the TypeSafe AI API. Use "Forget key" in the Playground to erase it at any time.
3. Free-play rate limiting
Free runs (no API key) are proxied through our server and limited to 5 per visitor per day. To count visits without identifying anyone, we keep a per-day counter keyed by a SHA-1 hash of your IP address. The hash is one-way, is not stored beyond the current day, and cannot be reversed or used to identify you.

Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies ourselves. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics (measurement) and, if enabled, by advertising partners (personalized ads). Where required by law (EU/UK), consent banners will be shown before non-essential cookies are used.
Data retention
Rate-limit hashes expire daily. Analytics data is retained by Google per their default settings. We keep no server-side user accounts and no mailing list unless you explicitly subscribe in the future.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and others), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since we hold almost no personal data, the fastest action is usually: clear your browser's local storage for this site, or contact us and we will help.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
